*Cant Look Emoticon*

One size does not fit all. Just because it's the "in" thing doesn't mean you should wear it. This is my mantra, and I am sticking to it. I am no fashion guru nor do I pretend to be. I simply believe that one should wear clothes that fit them properly, suit their body type and age. I really hate seeing someone who is clearly an "L" squeezed into a "M" or even more horrific an "S". I'm not a fan of pantylines and visible undergarments (especially those on their last leg, you know yourselves) Neither am I a fan of mature women in mini skirts and six inch stillettoes.

As women (and men) we need to embrace our bodies, even though it may prove diificult at times. If you don't like something, work on it, don't ingore it or make it worse by wearing unflattering clothing. Dress in a manner that suits your personality and body type. It's understandable that we all want to be fashionable. Fashion though is not created equally, what looks good on one person may not neccessarily look good on you. Find what works for you and stick with that.

  1. I have to say I disagree with the part about mature women in mini skirts and stilettos. My mom is a mature women in her 50s and by george she will stop traffic for the right reasons wearing those. If you don't have the goods to support the fashion, yes by all means turn it in. But if you do why not flaunt it?

I also want to add fashionable isn't wearing what's in style, it's being comfortable to wear what isn't in style and rock it. That's my definition. I get compliments on my style because I wear what I want and confidently. Many people have said I wish I were brave like you to wear that or I love this whatever, but I could never wear it. What you wear is an extension of your self expression so for sure wear clothes that express you.

Why blend in when you can stand out, right ;)
