Baby on Board: Woman Gives Birth To Baby Boy On Plane

I'm willing to bet a large sum of money that Priscilla imagined giving birth to her second child in a hospital bed. However, baby Antonio obviously loves a bit of unconventionality. Things got extremely interesting on Airbus 319, when just an hour into the flight a very pregnant Priscilla felt her first contractions.

The expecting mother boarded the Iberian aircraft in Malabo, Guinea with her aunt and her small son, after having left Spain to attend the funeral of her father. Flight personnel were more than happy to accommodate Priscilla, creating a make shift hospital. As if by magic, a midwife, a pediatrician and a family doctor were on that same flight. Did Antonio plan this?

Mother and newborn son were met at the Bajaras airport by an ambulance and doctor, waiting to transport them to La Paz hospital in Madrid. Both mommy and baby are perfectly healthy. A gushing mom says about her 3 kilo (6 pound) Antonino, he 'is a miracle, a gift from God.'

Strangely, this is the fifth baby to be born on an Iberian airline. Maybe the flights are bumpy but this does explain the midwife, pediatrician and family doctor. The airline probably offers them specials to ensure that medical personnel are always on a flight. If they don't maybe it's time to start.
