Orgasm? You Need It

Ah, the Big O. Like a potent drug, it could have you itching for your next fix. An orgasm, however, is so much better for you than anything a dealer can sell you. According to Dr Louanne Cole Weston, about 10% of women never achieve an orgasm. That is unfortunate because orgasms trigger many chemical reactions in the body that are beneficiary to your health, physically and mentally.

Orgasms actuate the release of endorphins. I call endorphins the 'feel good' hormone because they relieve tension and rid the mind of fear and anxiety hence making you feel...good. The released endorphins also act as a natural tranquilizer, bringing calm and better sleep. If all these wonders weren't enough, these hormones also increase tolerance for pain. I think the 'headache' excuse just found a retort.

Anyone who is dieting should include orgasms in their regime. Orgasms produce phenethylamine, an amphetamine that regulates the appetite and reduces cravings for junk food. However, that isn't all that a climax does for weight loss, it is estimated that 60-100 calories are burnt during an orgasm--that sounds divine.

Women who achieve orgasm regularly have healthier cardiovascular systems due to increased levels of oeastrogen. In addition, this means increases in good cholesterol. These women also have stronger immune systems and improved brain function. The boost in oestrogen levels can also give you radiant skin.

So not only does an orgasm make you feel good but it helps you lose weight and decreases the risk of infections? Sounds like a great medication to me. Go ahead, grab that man, woman, sex toy or hand and pleasure your way to better health.
